Clinics
|
| Ross Falisi and Dawn Falisi
hold Horsemanship Clinics throughout North America and abroad.
Horsemanship Clinics are structured to fit the needs of the clinic
sponsor and clinic participants – both horse and human. Subject
matter, length of time, etc. can all be tailored to meet the needs
everyone involved. |

|
| In fact, at most of our
Horsemanship Clinics there are riders of many disciplines present with
horses of a variety of different breeds all with different levels of
ability and experience, enjoying the same school. |

 |
Horsemanship Clinics are
structured to be a non-intensive, fun, learning environment for the
participants and auditors. The mood of Ross Falisi and Dawn Falisi’s
clinics is always festive and exciting with the primary emphasis on
safety. Auditors are an integral part of the school and are encouraged to
ask questions and involve themselves in the learning environment. In fact,
learning exercises that do not require horses are integrated into our
Horsemanship Clinics so that everyone may take part. |

|
|
| The industry secret with clinics is
that your horse will improve simply because you are working him 8 hours a
day for 2 days in a row, probably something he does not normally do. With
Ross Falisi and Dawn Falisi’s Horsemanship Clinics, techniques are
methodically applied and are based on theory. They do not work simply
because your horse is tired and has succumbed to blind obedience. We look
to find the cure for problems, not put a band-aid on them. It is much
easier for us to get performance from a horse that is bright and
energetic, rather than one who is tired and sore. |

A soft, supple, willing equine partner
is what we all desire and is exactly what we develop at a Falisi Horsemanship clinic. You will learn real answers to real life problems and
more importantly true horsemanship rather than cookbook horse training
using cookie cutter answers that are supposed to work in every situation.
You will learn that more than 90% of problems can be traced back to one or
more of four concepts: move forward, relaxed response to pressure, direct
the hip, and backing, the “Four Foundation Concepts”. |
